RSNC Lanka (Pvt) Ltd and Business Ontrack Australia (Pvt) Ltd Collaboratively organize a three (3) day workshop on “10 things you should have learned in school to develop as an entrepreneur” The main objective of this workshop is to support potential entrepreneurs with the required tools and guidelines to reach the success of their journey with the right mindset. The main target group of the workshop is university undergraduates and postgraduate students who are interested in future business investments. This workshop is more beneficial for students following small businesses and entrepreneurship modules in their respective degrees. This provides a great opportunity for them to listen to the practices and experiences of renowned international scholars and practitioners. During the workshop, participants’ knowledge is enriched with ten (10) vital areas which are essential to becoming a successful entrepreneur. This is a rare chance for Sri Lankan university students to expose themselves to experienced international speakers who are globally recognized.

Participants will be invited to a private Facebook group to collaborate and have further access to experts to further develop their skills.

Charith Bandara is an Author, Software Consultant and entrepreneur with several years of experience in Real Estate investing and financial markets.
Charith is a Sri Lankan who was born in Colombo and who migrated to Australia a few years ago. He studied for his Master of Information Technology in Sikkim Manipal University, and has a finance background as a CIMA past finalist.
In his career he was involved with many Business Systems developments, Web Technologies and Data science projects. He had an interest in other unrelated subjects as well, and, treading in unfamiliar territory, also focused on topics including personal development, business development and economics.
Charith’s journey as an entrepreneur is an interesting one involving many businesses as a consultant and manager, plus experience as a real estate investor.
Charith’s ongoing mission is to help average people leverage “How to” tools to achieve financial freedom and create a second income rather than depend on a single income. He believes that everyone, no matter what they do or where they come from, should be able to benefit from the power of the written word in their everyday life.
Rangana is a Researcher and an Educationist serving as a Professor in Tourism Management at the Department of Tourism Management, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka. He is having more than 16 years of experience in academia.
He contributed his service to various government and private sector tourism projects as a consultant, mentor, business coach and resource person in various workshops and training. His major teaching and research areas are ecotourism, community-based tourism, sustainable tourism development and Strategic Management.
Rangana Holds a PhD in Management.
